An electronic controlled port fuel injection system was developed. Cold start characteristics of gasoline engine and LPG engine were studied by the experiment. Effects of initial fuel injection pulse width, initial throttle position, injection width attenuation gradient, throttle angle attenuation gradient and other control parameters on transient air to fuel ratio, transient engine speed and transient emissions were studied. Reference basis was provided for the further research on fuel cold start characteristics, the reduction of engine emission and the development of electronic controlled fuel injection system
