Abstract:Braking energy recovery is a basic character of hydraulic hybrid technology. On the basis of brief introduction to the working principles of a new-style hydraulic hybrid sport utility vehicle (SUV), and by means of describing the models of chief part, the accumulator-of the braking energy recovery system, and in combination of the vehicle dynamic model, the simulation and analysis of braking energy recovery have been done in the case of the secondary element's different invariable braking torque for some SUV. The results indicated that the hydraulic hybrid system could effectively realize brake and braking energy recovery.
