Abstract:In order to discover the influence rules of paperbased passive micromixer’s parameters on mixing effect of pesticides, the Yshaped micromixer, Zshaped micromixer, squarewave micromixer were selected and the relationships among the parameters of each kind micromixer and mixing performance by experiments were researched. Then optimal parameters of each kind micromixer were chosen, and mixing performances of three micromixers were contrasted under the optimal parameters. The results of experiments show that Yshaped micromixer’s optimal parameters are inlet velocity of 0.010mL/min, inlet angle of 30°, Zshaped micromixer’s optimal parameters are inlet velocity of 0.010mL/min, peak separation of 3mm, corner angle of 30°, squarewave micromixer’s optimal parameters are inlet velocity of 0.010mL/min, wave height of 2mm, wave width of 5mm, and under their optimal parameters, Yshaped micromixer’s outlet mixing intensity is 0.6227, Zshaped micromixer’s outlet mixing intensity is 0.6902, squarewave micromixer’s outlet mixing intensity is 0.7326. The squarewave micromixer has the best mixing performance. Paperbased passive micromixer has some fibers in its channel, it can provide dynamic of flowing and enhance the diffusion of liquid pesticides. On the other hand, it can limit the convection to a certain degree. This article researched the mixing performance of paperbased passive micromixer for the first time internationally.
